FIBC Lifting Loop Options
FIBC lifting loops connect the bag to suitable handling equipment. The required loop configuration depends on the bag design, filling process and handling method.
Standard loops on our current range are generally approximately 300–350 mm long and about 70 mm wide. Specifications vary by product, so check the exact product page before ordering.
Most of our stock FIBC bags use four lifting loops positioned at the bag corners. Cross-corner and other loop configurations may be available for selected stock or made-to-order designs.
Always follow the product-specific handling instructions, use suitable lifting equipment and do not exceed the stated safe working load.
Cross Corner Lift Loops

Corner Seam Lift Loops
Corner-seam loop dimensions vary by bag design and may be available for selected stock or made-to-order products. Confirm the required loop length and lifting method before ordering.
Stevedore Straps
Stevedore straps serve as supplementary lifting components alongside cross corner or corner seam loops.
Essentially, a stevedore strap functions as a belt, connecting either two neighboring lift loops or all four loops simultaneously.
Bulk bags designated for export shipping and locations with challenging traditional forklift access frequently feature the inclusion of stevedore straps.
These straps facilitate effortless bag manipulation using a crane or hook system, simplifying the process of raising and lowering the bag as needed.
