FIBC stands for Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container. These large woven polypropylene bags are used to contain, store and move dry bulk materials. They are also called bulk bags, bulka bags or jumbo bags. NSW BULK BAGS supplies empty bags; choose the design and load rating for your application.
Start with our bag selection guide
Start with both weight and volume. One tonne does not always occupy one cubic metre: the volume depends on the material’s bulk density. Compare the bag dimensions, usable filling space and safe working load (SWL). Our range includes 90 × 90 × 90 cm and 90 × 90 × 120 cm designs; confirm the rating on the specific product.
Compare dimensions and capacity
SWL is the maximum working load stated for the bag. A 1,000 kg SWL bag must not be loaded above 1,000 kg. A 5:1 safety factor does not increase the permitted working load or mean the bag can be reused. Follow the bag label and instructions, including any single-trip restriction.
An open top provides wide filling access without an integrated closure. A duffle top has a fabric skirt that opens wide and gathers closed. A spout top provides a defined inlet for compatible filling equipment. Choose the opening for your filling process and containment needs; the bottom design is a separate choice.
Compare top designs
Choose a closed bottom when you do not need a built-in bottom outlet. A spout bottom allows discharge through a defined opening using suitable unloading equipment. Confirm that the outlet and material flow suit your process. Close the discharge spout before filling and never stand beneath a suspended bag.
Compare bottom designs
Check the diameter, length and attachment method for the exact bag model, then compare them with your filling or discharge equipment. Top and bottom spouts can have different dimensions. Send us the equipment opening measurements or a current bag photo if helpful; one spout size should not be assumed across the whole range.

Coating is a layer bonded to the woven fabric. A liner is a separate inner bag, often made from polyethylene. They serve different purposes and can be specified together. For fine particles or moisture-sensitive contents, check the complete design, including seams, liner fit and closures, rather than the fabric alone.
Compare coating and liner options
A standard woven bulk bag is not waterproof. Coating or a suitable liner may improve protection, but openings, seams and closures still matter. Keep bags dry, under cover and protected from direct sunlight and adverse weather. UV treatment does not provide unlimited outdoor life; storage suitability depends on the specific bag and conditions.

We sell bulk bags in the multi-bag packs shown on each product page, not individually. Selecting 10 PCS with Quantity 1 means one pack of 10 bags. The displayed pack price includes GST. For larger quantities, ask us for a bulk quote.
Yes. We can quote pallet quantities and discuss repeat supply for your business. Tell us the bag design, quantity and expected reorder frequency. Bag counts per pallet vary by model, so we confirm the count, availability and delivery arrangements for your order.
Discuss bulk and ongoing supply
Yes. We can discuss custom dimensions, top and bottom designs, coated fabric, liners, colours and printing through our family manufacturing operation. Feasibility, minimum quantities, artwork and print area depend on the design. Send your quantity and a bag photo or outline of what you need to start.
Explore custom bag orders
The minimum depends on the model and specification. For example, the Black Open Top / Closed Bottom 90 × 90 × 90 cm bag requires 800 bags (2 pallets), while the Flat Top / Closed Bottom 90 × 90 × 120 cm bag requires 360 bags (1 pallet). These are model-specific examples; printing, colours and other designs are quoted separately.
Ask about your custom minimum
For available stock, we aim to dispatch the next business day where possible. Custom orders typically take 45–60 days including sea freight, starting after the deposit is received and final specifications and artwork, where applicable, are approved. We confirm the estimate for your order; production, shipping and delivery conditions can affect timing.
Check availability and lead times
Yes, we offer Australia-wide shipping and pickup from Auburn, Sydney, by prior arrangement. Delivery cost and timing depend on your postcode and order. Contact us before travelling to confirm stock and collection arrangements. For a pallet delivery, let us know if you need help planning the unloading arrangements.
An enquiry can start with the quantity and delivery postcode, if known. Include the bag size and top/bottom design if you have them. A photo of your current bag, or the weight or volume each bag needs to hold, can help us suggest an option. Let us know about any liner or printing requirements; a complete specification is not needed to get started.
