Bulk bags with recycled PP
Using recycled polypropylene can replace part of the virgin PP needed for a bag. The proportion and source of recycled material are confirmed for the selected design, application and required load rating.
All-PP designs for recycling
We can manufacture unprinted all-PP bag designs specified to be 100% recyclable through suitable commercial PP recycling facilities. Recyclability is confirmed for the complete specification, including fabric, loops, stitching, ties and any liner or coating. Recycler acceptance depends on bag condition, previous contents, components and local services. For printed bags, ink compatibility and acceptance must also be confirmed with the recycler in the country of use.
Recycled content describes the material used to make the bag. Recyclable describes its processing after use. A bag can have either characteristic, or both.
From waste bags to new material.
Our family-owned manufacturing operation has its own workshop and equipment for recycling waste PP bags and reprocessing the material into recycled polypropylene pellets.
These pellets can be used in new bag production, with the material blend selected to suit the required bag design and application. This gives us an in-house capability to recover material and incorporate recycled PP into custom bulk bags.

Recycled PP can replace part of the virgin PP used in a bag. Its carbon footprint also depends on production, energy, freight and end-of-life treatment. Recycled content alone does not establish a carbon reduction; comparisons need a defined bag specification and calculation basis.
Our longer-term energy strategy
We plan to assess clean-energy upgrades, including rooftop solar at our manufacturing facilities. This is a future initiative and has not yet been implemented. Any carbon benefits would need to be measured after implementation.
What to know before you order.
Match the material to the job.
Recycled PP and all-PP options are considered alongside bag dimensions, required load rating, filling and discharge, liners, coatings, printing and quantity.
What recycled percentage is available?
The proportion and material source are confirmed for the selected design and application before ordering. One percentage should not be assumed across the range.
Do these options apply to stocked bags?
These are custom manufacturing options. Refer to each stocked product’s specification, or ask us to confirm its material composition and recycling requirements.
Where can bags be recycled?
Check with a commercial recycler that accepts woven PP bulk bags. Acceptance depends on location, previous contents, contamination and bag components. Confirm arrangements before disposal.
What about food applications?
Food applications require separate consideration. Recycled-content options should not be assumed suitable for direct food contact.
